Celebrate Our Freedom, Let the Iranian People Achieve Theirs
Today we celebrate the founding of our nation and those who fought to realize the vision of an America free of British misrule to which they courageously pledged their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor.
As it happens, but for the intervention of another foreign power, all might well have been lost. In 1777, France formally announced its recognition of the United States of America, backed by arms shipments, diplomatic support and military forces like those that helped secure our victory at Yorktown.
It behooves us to remember that crucial help as we hear reports of the Iranian mullahs murdering their people to prevent a revolution from giving rise to a Free Iran. Israel is ready to finish the job by rendering the regime unable to cling to power. All we need to do is get out of the way.

We should get out of Israel's way. The "cease fire" only allows Iran to stock up for their still-futile effort to keep their leadership in command. The Iranian citizens just need some founding fathers to rally their citizens. But, such people only appear rarely in history. Let's see if liberty or oppression is favored for Iranian people. But, it is really up to them, and God. They can use our prayers.
It's so refreshing to hear a Conservative stand up for Israel and our alliance with them.
