One of the most important reasons Donald Trump is president today is the appeal of his commitment in the course of the 2024 campaign to work with Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. to make America healthy again.
This was a voting issue for millions of us deeply troubled about the pharmaceutical, medical, food, and regulatory factors that are making us sick and not promoting wellness.
Mr. Kennedy – a tireless champion for correcting what ails public health in this country – is President Trump’s choice to head the massive federal Department of Health and Human Services. His nomination faces a critical vote today in the Senate Finance Committee.
In the end, it will likely come down to one Republican Senator, Louisiana’s Bill Cassidy. He is a medical doctor whose constituents are overwhelmingly urging a yes vote.
Let us pray that he will heed their call.
This is Frank Gaffney.

First of all, Congresshumans vote according to their instructions from lobbyists and donors. Sad, but true. America does need to be more healthy, but you need each person to take responsibility for their own health. It would be great to dull the rapier of pharmaceutical companies' direct influence on Federal monopolies granted to them. But doctors prescribing loads of medications does not help. Hopefully, RFK Jr. will influence people to healthier diets. Mandates will not work, but regulations against poisonous foods will. Hopefully, both sides bridge the gap.
