The Justice Department yesterday indicted former Cuban dictator Raoul Castro and others for three murders of American citizens thirty years ago. To paraphrase Winston Churchill, it may mark “the beginning of the end” of the regime he and his brother, Fidel, have inflicted on the island’s longsuffering population for nearly seven decades.
The indictment was preceded by an oil embargo engineered by President Trump and a man whose family fled to freedom from Cuba, Secretary of State Marco Rubio. It has precipitated sustained blackouts and economic privation that has translated into increasing public demands for liberty.
It’s hard to overstate the strategic implications of Cuba’s possibly imminent liberation. The Kremlin and Communist China have long weaponized the island, collecting signals intelligence there, running spy operations here and supporting insurgencies and hostile regimes throughout the Western hemisphere.
Let us pray for Cuba Libre.

Yes, amen! I have used Lyft rides fairly often for a while, and fairly often the drivers are hard-working Cubans who came to America to escape -- who have told me of the great oppression and starvation going on.
One MD physician who had to risk his life to escape told me how $25 a month for a physician is common-- the same as an unskilled laborer. On the other hand, their so-called leaders lived in royal-like luxury and splendor like a Warren Buffett-- not from earning it, but by exploiting their own people all these years.
And they were pretty much to a man ready to fight and liberate Cuba! Yes, we pray for true liberation of the great people and nation of Cuba!🙏🙏🙏
Agreeing in prayer with you for the liberation of Cuba ... and of Iran! God use you and bless you, President Trump
