During his first presidential campaign, Donald Trump pledged to defeat what he called the ideology of “radical Islamic terrorism.” Of late, his administration has been signaling a willingness to embrace its enablers and practitioners.
That’s the unmistakable takeaway from Mr. Trump’s visit to Qatar this month. After all, his hosts bankroll Sharia-supremacism worldwide, including by funding toxic influence operations and Muslim Brotherhood terrorists.
Speaking of such terrorists, the administration recently appointed a convicted one along with another Sharia-supremacist to an advisory board on religious liberty. It’s not clear whether Qatar had a hand in these ominous selections.
What is certain though, as former spy Sam Faddis powerfully warns, jihadis and their Communist allies are now openly advocating violent action here at home.
This is a time for rolling up radical Islamic terrorists – not enabling, let alone emboldening, them.
It is clear that disruption of the world terrorist networks is imperative. If they are in the US, they should be subject to US law and should be easier to handle, if the law is obeyed. Overseas, the head of the snake needs to be cut off. Not sure what the sudden kissing-cousins attitude in Qatar is about. Maybe Trump wants help with the Houthis or maybe he is exhibiting the "carrot" before the "stick" if it does not work. Good theater. Stay tuned.
I am sick of all of these people from different countries, coming to this country and trying to turn it into what they left, you want what you left get your A-- back to your own country.
