Simply enforce the law equally for everyone. That would seem prudent to anyone. Yet, it does not seem prudent to lawmakers in DC. It is getting better under Trump, but the cancer that has spread over the last 16 years will be tough to excise. If you selectively enforce justice, you are practicing the most egregious form of prejudice there is, not just in ideology, but in action. It is no different than the Nazi evil. Pick a race (or any "different" people), segregate them in media propaganda, selective enforce laws to eliminate them, then get all other people to hate them. You can take over and nobody will notice until the aim of the machine points at you. Sound familiar? Just because your cause is different, selective enforcement of law is not justified. Simply enforce the law. Then things get better.
